christmas gift for boys

make these....yum yum

you will need...

4oz brown sugar

6oz butter

1 dessert spoon of golden syrup

6oz porridge oats

drop of almond essence

seeds(seseme, poppy) a handful

nuts (hasle, pistachio, brazil) a handful

preheat oven to 200

toast nuts and seeds in the oven for few mins

turn oven down to 150

melt the sugar and butter and syrup over some hot water

stir in all in the rest of the bits

put into a dish with grease proof paper , push it down into the corners...bake in the oven at 150 for 40 mins...leave to stand for 15 mins and cut into squares...mmmm

Lola's Ghost outfit (but she insisted on wearing her fairy outfit underneath!)





Friday we spent the day in the Peak District...lovely, just what I needed (forgot camera!) and Saturday we went to a Halloween party, we all dressed up to the max (I looked great as a witch) but I forgot to get a pic of us all. Lols went as a ghost (and a fairy!) and monley went as a mummy!!! Lola absolutely loved it and was up until 11pm!!!!!!!!

We had alovely walk on saturday with Kinny, Freddie, Mav, Jules and Alfie...we were foreging around in the woods with 500 year old trees and fungi...such a nice day...xxx

Lola in her fairy outfit..I am taking her to see Disney on Ice at the Trent Arena in a couple of weeks, just the two of us...she is SO excited! Never thought I would be doing that on a Friday night!!!

the weekend...a very creative one!

she has started asking to wear my scarves!!

we bough M a new table and chairs...she spent the whole weekend painting, gluing and sticking..oh and play dough modeling...she is so my daughter!!!
