Camping it up...

A great weekend, the sun shone..it was lovely and hot, we camped by a lake and Lola loved every minute. Lola and Harry in the tent.

She spent most of the weekend naked!

a 2km swim out in a freezing cold lake with 550 other people... Nice!

...followed by an 80km bike ride,

then straight into a 13 mile run...all without stopping once!!!!

He finished in a very impressive 5 hrs 43 minutes!!!!!!!!!

We sat in the sunshine, drank coffee and ate a picnic mmmmm xx

some stuff

hello...its been a while so here are some things that have been in my life this week in june...firstly some flowers from Spencers mums garden...quite amazing and one of the most beautiful bunches of flowers i have been given ever!

these are my new tiny tiny vases, the are perfect for one or two daisy's..

here is the new vegi patch...lits of work to do but so much more space for planting!!


and finally...penut butter...its on my mind...i dont buy it for this reason..i bought it for the mouse trap (we have mice!) but i cant get it out of my head...i want to eat it all, with butter and white bread...what will i do with it in my cupboard....

Peonies

Peonies from the allotment...unlike me to have such a colour in the house...but they look lovely!! Off camping for the weekend, Andrew has his half Iron man on Sunday so we are all going to Wales!! Hopefully the sun will shine xxx

F***ing Moths

The little bastards...they have eaten there way through loads of my silk scarves and woolens.

Spent lots of wasted hours today washing out moth remnants.This bird has been hanging around for the last few days...so weird, it sits on the kitchen windowsill and taps at the glass, staring in with its beady eyes...evil looking thing with a massive black beak. It came and sat on the line and looked at me while I was hanging out the washing. Very strange!

we had an amazing time at the London Transport museum on Saturday, Mabel loved this slide show , it was moving images from the underground, really amazing...then we went for a burger!!
